Panradox is a family hobby… well, half of the family anyway. Our kids hate AI, which means they kind of hate us right now too, so yeah… half the family involved.

How did it start?

After launching the Nopetunes project, I asked my wife to give songwriting a shot (she’s really talented with poetry). But as she tried writing lyrics for the gaming world, I quickly realized that her entire gaming knowledge boils down to: “Are you playing again?”
So, we decided to switch vibes.
Suddenly, we started creating some really cool stuff that we found ourselves leaving on repeat all day long. That was the moment my single remaining brain cell met up with one of hers (she obviously has more) over a cup of coffee, and they decided to force us to make these songs public. So, just to be clear: we didn’t want to publish them, but they left us no choice.
The name Panradox came naturally; and yes, that extra N is a nod to Pan, the Greek god of wild music and nature. It sums up everything this project is: from K-Pop and rock to soul and ambient; from sad, emotional lyrics to upbeat vibes; from my wife’s pessimism to my hopeless optimism; from deep reflections to real-life stories and irony. Honestly, even we don’t know what’s coming next, but it’s definitely going to be really cool.

We often get into this debate (okay, 99.99% of the time I start it) where I tell her she’s too pessimistic, and I’m on the opposite extreme: too optimistic. Her response? She’s not pessimistic, she’s a “realist”. In other words, expect music with a realistic touch and, “panradoxically,” some less realistic stuff too :).

For us, these songs have become part of our world, and we hope they become part of yours as well. To those who might judge us for using AI: honestly, we agree with you! BUT… we’re at a point in life where we take something controversial and use it to have fun and keep moving forward. Is AI purely a good thing? Maybe not. But DAMN!… look at what it can do if you know how and where to use it!
