Obviously, the idea came up during an RDR 2 session, in a moment when I was roaming aimlessly through the game, admiring the view and looking for a spot to camp. And then it hit me. “How cool life should be!”…”Probably.” But it felt better to stick to real life and write some lyrics about this limitation, about being just a “nowadays cowboy”. A person in front of a screen experiencing that only through the game. We’re not bringing up that somewhere in the USA there are still real cowboys, because that’s not what this is about :)) So yeah, let’s stick to the music!
Even though the music is AI-generated, it was far from a simple ‘one-click prompt’. The lyrics are originally written in my native language (usually), then translated using AI to ensure the expressions retain their true meaning in English. Sorry for using AI here, but Google Translate really stinks for this. But that’s not a strict rule. It’s usually the process I rely on when I enter my dumb state and my last remaining neuron is playing hide-and-seek with the English language. Obviously, rhymes don’t translate directly, so that’s where my hands-on process comes in: rearranging, refining, and making personal adjustments to get the vibe just right.
